Here we have a few photos of the hole for the discharge control pit. This pit will be filled with geocubes - basically, material-covered plastic boxes that allow water to pass through but retain sediment. The resulting water is then passed by gravity into the main water tank.
Another photo of the pit, along with the pile of sandstone to be removed from site. Another pile remains but this pile comprises mostly soil and should be used for cut-and-fill process.
Photos below are the access point for the main water tank. It was installed on Saturday 9th June 2012.
Photo below are rubble to be removed (from the drainage pit) and a close-up of the old interconnects for solar, waste and power for the pool.
