Pegout, and Excavations commenced!

On 19th May, the site had a peg-out done. This seemed to have little relevance to actual placement of the house on the property, except in the most broadest terms... Some photos of the pegs (woohoo!)

On Friday 1st June, we were notified that we had officially entered the CONSTRUCTION PHASE!

On Monday 4th June, we removed the temporary 'FenceFast' fencing at the front, and immediately afterwards, Masterton installed their own, put the Masterton generic build sign up, and one of those Building Site warning signs.

Today, the excavations for the detention pit commenced. They hit sandstone immediately, which should cost us an extra $3000. This was an expected cost, as we similarly struck sandstone in the same area when excavating for the pool a year earlier.

They started digging the detention pit.
