Insulation finally complete & gyprock arrives

No action for weeks, and then happened to drive by on Wednesday 16th and the miss-delivered insulation was being taken away.

The following day, I drove past in the morning and found a ute loaded with insulation (roof and soundscreen) unloading, and a big truck unloading all their gyprock including cornices.

The insulation was installed during the day, including the 'variation' for soundscreen insulation in all walls upstairs and ceiling insulation in the outdoor alfresco area (which is usually never done by Masterton!)

There was also a carpenter finishing off all the exterior wooden cornices on the ground level - no doubt they'll be painting the exterior eaves on the ground floor soon too. The 1st floor ones were done prior to removing scaffolding. Efficient at least!

Over the break, the family had a busy clean-bee day and picked up all the bits of rubbish on every side of the house - popped it all into the onsite rubbish tray, to avoid issues later. Found probably thousands of little nails in the backyard and front. I think we'll be removing those things for years...
