Got power?

Update for today - we've been connected to the grid! Steve from Statewide Electrical moves fast, especially considering the forms were only signed the Friday before!

We tested all lights and overhead fans, along with a couple of power points. All fine so far!

We've arranged a private electrician to come the same day as all the other trades, to replace the hallway lights with pendants. He'll also be replacing the blanks at front of house with external lights, a sensor at front, some more pendants above kitchen island, some ultra-cool USB combo powerpoints (no more Apple adapters for us!), and running the last metre of conduit for the power to the pool, along with the pool lighting.

Now, we're going to run an extension cord from the external powerpoint on the house and start up the pool. We've got a lot of vacuuming to do....
